The K-State Data Commons offers both virtual and in-person services.
Place
- Quiet environment for researchers to work
- High-end workstation with dual widescreen, high-resolution monitors
- Configuration for personal laptop use (wired or wireless)
- Suite of peripheral equipment (scanner, printer, CD/DVD burner)
- SAS, SPSS, and GIS software
Data Access
- Staff assist patrons to identify, obtain and use datasets.
Statistical Assistance
- On-demand help with use of data files and statistical analysis software
- Training in statistical methods and software (not currently available)
Library
- Easy access to U.S. Government statistical resources
- Collection of ICPSR publications
- Easy access to Hale Library's collections and subject specialists
Data Commons space, staff, and resources are provided by the K-State Libraries.
