On-line Instructional Resources

The Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research, located at the University of Michigan, is the world's largest archive of digital social science data. ICPSR collects, archives and makes available original research data on a variety of topics. Users can search for data by keyword or browse by topic and download data for statistical manipulation. In addition, ICPSR contains a number of specialized data archives from education and health to demographics and terrorism. The website also contains online tutorials and help. Users must register to use the site and create a personal data account. Because K-State is a member of the ICPSR contortium, K-State students, faculty, and staff are entitled to free access to all data and user support.
